History was made at the 2026 SACSA Rijken Cup as Horizon Christian School claimed the overall championship for the first time. The week was filled with outstanding teamwork, memorable moments and strong performances across multiple sports, reflecting the dedication of our students, staff and coaches. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this incredible achievement.

Last term, Horizon Christian School staff and students hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, raising $2,014.47 in support of the Cancer Council through the Balaklava Lions Club's local fundraising efforts. The event brought together students, families and the wider community while providing valuable hands-on learning opportunities for our Food & Hospitality students, who prepared, marketed and sold their own products throughout the morning.
